How the daily rewards work.

Short and specific, so there are no surprises. These rules are a draft: stock rewards are not live, and nothing is scheduled or paid.

Nothing below applies until rewards launch. No snapshot is being taken and no prize can be claimed yet.

Fees fund the rewards

  1. Fees from $RANKFOLIO flow into the reward pool. The pool is used only to reward top-ranked traders with tokenized stocks.
  2. Prizes never come from other traders. Nobody's trades, losses or wallet fund a prize, and Rankfolio never touches anyone's FOMO account.
  3. Where the fees come from, and at what rate, is published here once it is confirmed and being collected.

The daily competition

  1. Every day at 00:00 UTC, Rankfolio saves FOMO's 24H leaderboard, read through fomoapi.io at that moment, and publishes it. The traders ranked 1 to 50 on it share that day's treasury.
  2. FOMO's 24H board is rolling: it covers the 24 hours before FOMO last calculated it, with profit and loss as FOMO reports it. Rankfolio does not recalculate anything.
  3. fomoapi.io captures FOMO's board in batches, so the board saved at midnight can be a few hours older than the snapshot. Its capture time is published with each day.
  4. If fomoapi.io cannot be reached at midnight, the snapshot is retried through the morning. If it still fails, it may be taken later that day, and it is marked late.
  5. You do not need to sign up to take part. Every trader on FOMO's board is ranked.

Shares

  1. Rank r gets (51 − r) ÷ 1,275 of the day's treasury: #1 3.92%, #2 3.84%, #3 3.76%, and a little less each rank down to #50 0.08%. The 50 shares add up to exactly 100%. How much of the treasury is paid out each day is confirmed before launch.
  2. Prizes are Robinhood Chain Stock Tokens issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They are debt securities that track a share price. They are not shares and carry no shareholder rights.
  3. Which Stock Tokens the treasury pays in is confirmed before launch. What the tokens are worth afterwards goes up and down with the stock.
  4. Prizes are paid from the reward pool, and Rankfolio pays the network fee.

Getting paid

  1. Link your FOMO account once, at /claim: connect the wallet you want to be paid to, then prove the FOMO account is yours. You can link once you have been on FOMO's 24H top 150 in the last 30 days. After that, every day you place in the top 50 your share is sent automatically. A share won before you link is kept for 30 days; after that it stays in the treasury.
  2. To link, you sign a message with the payout wallet (free, and it cannot move funds), then add a one-time code to your FOMO bio, which Rankfolio reads through fomoapi.io. You can remove the code once you are linked. If the wallet you sign with is the wallet on your FOMO profile, that is proof enough and no code is needed.
  3. Prizes are sent on Robinhood Chain to the payout wallet you connected when you linked. It does not have to be your FOMO wallet. A FOMO account has one payout wallet, and a wallet can be the payout wallet of only one FOMO account. Smart-contract wallets, and wallets the Stock Token registry blocks, cannot be linked.
  4. A new link starts paying 72 hours after it is made; shares won before then are kept for it. If someone else proves they control a FOMO account that is already linked, its rewards are held, and paid to no wallet, until Rankfolio has looked into it. Rankfolio never sends codes: a code from anyone else would link your account to their wallet.
  5. Payouts are public on Robinhood Chain, and each rank's share is a known amount, so anyone can match a payout wallet to its FOMO handle.
  6. Each day's share goes to the payout wallet linked when that day's snapshot is taken. A payout wallet cannot be changed from the site yet; if you need to change it, contact us.
  7. If your FOMO profile is private, your handle has changed since the snapshot, or the automatic check does not work for you, contact us and we will verify your account another way.

Who can receive a prize

  1. Robinhood Chain Stock Tokens may not be offered, sold or delivered to U.S. persons, or in the United States and its territories.
  2. The issuer restricts Canada, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and Robinhood excludes the United Arab Emirates. Residents of these countries cannot receive a prize.
  3. The issuer prohibits investors in Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine and Venezuela. Residents and citizens of these countries cannot receive a prize. The issuer may change this list, and Rankfolio follows it.
  4. You must be at least 18. Claims are also refused when they come from a restricted country.
  5. Rankfolio may ask for more information before sending a prize, and does not send one that it believes would break these restrictions.

Fair play

  1. Rankfolio may withhold a prize, before it is sent, if the winner is not eligible, if FOMO restricts the account or voids its results, if the ranking looks manipulated, or if a claim is false. The prize is then not awarded, and the page says so.
  2. Rankfolio is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or verified by FOMO, and FOMO has no part in these prizes.
  3. Winners are responsible for any tax on their prize.
  4. These rules can change for future weeks. A change never applies to a week already saved, and the version each winner accepts is stored with their claim.
  5. Nothing on Rankfolio is financial advice or an offer to sell securities.
